Engelberg Titlis
Engelberg Titlis is a ski resort located in the heart of the Swiss Alps, known for its stunning views and diverse ski terrain. we had the opportunity to visit Engelberg Titlis as part of a ski trip to shoot a video for the local tourist board. Upon arriving at the resort, we were immediately struck by the picturesque scenery. The snow-covered peaks and valleys were breathtaking, and the crisp alpine air was invigorating.

One of the highlights of our visit was taking the Titlis Rotair gondola to the top of Mount Titlis. The gondola ride offered panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and at the summit, we were greeted by even more stunning vistas.
Engelberg is probably most known for the “Engelberg Big 5” – a collection of five unique ski runs that offer a challenging and thrilling experience for advanced skiers. The runs are named Laub, Sulz, Steintäli, Seinberg and Galtiberg, each one offers a different level of difficulty. The Laub run is known for its steep and challenging terrain, while the Sulz run offers a more moderate level of difficulty with a good balance of technical skiing and fun. The Steintäli run is known for its moguled terrain and tight turns, requiring precise and skilled skiing. The Seinberg run is a bit more open, with a good balance of steep and flat sections, while the Galtiberg run is known for its long and winding descent, providing a fun and exhilarating experience.
In addition to the Big 5, Engelberg Titlis offers a variety of slopes, from beginner-friendly runs to more challenging terrain for experienced skiers. We also took a short hike to the Titlis Cliff Walk, a suspension bridge that offers a thrilling experience for visitors. The bridge hangs at an altitude of 3,041 meters and offers a bird’s-eye view of the resort and surrounding area. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Engelberg Titlis offers a variety of other activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and even paragliding.
Overall, our visit to Engelberg Titlis was a fantastic experience. The resort offers a perfect blend of breathtaking scenery, diverse ski terrain, and a wide range of activities for visitors to enjoy. We highly recommend a visit to Engelberg Titlis for anyone looking for a winter vacation filled with adventure and natural beauty.
